Enrichment - Caradoc went on a Farm to Fork trip to the fabulous Blackhurst Farm on the side of the Lawley. We walked the farm; watched the return of sheep to base from grazing elsewhere; used maths to calculate the total weight of wool shorn from the flock, and the supply of new fence posts; made charcoal sketches of the HIghland cows and their stunning grazing country; met the working dogs; learned about safety on a farm; saw the refrigeration unit for the farm produce and learned about cuts of meat, and of course climbed trees.
