PUPIL PREMIUM

The Pupil Premium is additional funding paid to schools in respect of their disadvantaged pupils.  These are pupils who:

• have been registered for free schools meals (FSM) at any point in the last six years)
• is a child of a member of the serving forces (or has been in the last 4 years)
• have been looked after for one day or more
• are adopted
• leave care under a Special Guardianship Order or a Residence Order

Schools receive this funding to support these eligible pupils and narrow the attainment gap between them and their peers.
