Our Christian Vision...
"Be united in spirit, sympathetic, loving, compassionate and humble."
Peter 3:8
No matter the starting point, all our children should grow and flourish at Rushbury. When moving on, each pupil will have developed natural curiosity and a willingness to contribute: becoming a global citizen. Just as St Peter needed guidance from Jesus, so we will provide that guidance for our children.
Our Core Values are:
CURIOSITY
FRIENDSHIP
RESPECT
PERSEVERANCE
At Rushbury CE Primary School we aim to:
· make our learning inspiring, challenging and fun
· achieve our best
· celebrate success
· be Ready, Respectful and Safe in all that we do.
The school operates an approach of ‘Christian Value of the Month’. 15 Christian values have been identified and are represented in an interactive ‘fish and boat’ display in the school hall. The monthly focus is explored in a variety of different ways but particularly through whole school worship and class/year worship.

British Values
Rushbury school’s ethos promotes the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance for those with different faiths and beliefs; and encourage children to respect other people, with particular regard to the protected characteristics set out in the Equality Act 2010. If you would like more information, please read our SMSC and British Values school policy.
Equality and Diversity
At Rushbury CE Primary School we are committed to ensuring equality of education and opportunity for all pupils, staff, parents and carers receiving services from the school, irrespective of race, gender, disability, faith or religion or socio-economic background. We aim to develop a culture of inclusion and diversity in which all those connected to the school feel proud of their identity and able to participate fully in school life.
