SCHOOL DINNER LETTERS

To ensure the kitchen is aware in advance of which children would like vegetarian options, please can the recent letters that were sent to parents be returned with their child’s choices to the office. Thank you in advance.

 

CPO ASSEMBLY

On Monday 14 October, Community Support Officer Dave Barron will be joining us in assembly to answer questions about his role in the community and talk about the work he does.

 

CANCELLED CROSS COUNTRY DATE

Please note that the cross country club will not be held on 27/11/19 due to staff training.

 

ANAPHYLASIC TRAINING FOR STAFF

 

The Schools Nurse will be visiting to provide staff with training on Wednesday 23rd October 2019 from 12:30 until 13:00. Should any parents, governors and friends like to attend please contact the office.

 

KEY STAGE 2 TRIP TO LIVERPOOL

Miss Reeve’s class had a great time on Wednesday in Liverpool. Thank you to the pupils for their excellent behaviour on the visit and for all being prompt in arriving on the morning, and to Mrs Hercock for coming along to support. 

 

KEY STAGE 2 VISIT TO RAF COSFORD

On Thursday 17th October 2019, Miss Reeves’s class will be visiting RAF Cosford as part of their topic on World War II. Here is the itinerary for the day:

Pupils will need to wear school uniform, and we recommend comfortable shoes to be worn, and a water proof to be brought. A packed lunch and drink will need to be brought for the trip.

The fun KS2 Maths Club 2 will run on the following dates from 15:20 – 16:30:

LITTLE ACORNS OPEN DAY

Little Acorns will be holding an open day on Wednesday 6th November 2019 from 9.00am – 4.30pm.  Please spread the word.

 

BEETLE DRIVE

Hope Bowdler PCC run a beetle drive which they raise money for Rushbury school and St Andrews church Hope Bowdler. It is on 18th of October 2019. Please contact Barbara Stubbs on 01694 723418 for more details. Tickets £4 for adults and £2 for children. This is a great fun evening for all the family prizes and excitement. All welcome.
