CHURCH SCHOOL QUESTIONNAIRE

 

A questionnaire for parents regarding views on the Christian Foundation associated with the school is attached. Please complete and return to the office. Thank you.

 

HILBRAE DOG RESCUE

 

Last term Mrs Manley’s class collected used stamps for this charity, and would like to ask for these to be donated to the school again.

All used stamps would be gratefully received.

 

FRIENDS OF RUSHBURY PRIMARY SCHOOL

 

The Friends AGM saw the re-election of Laraine Oxley as Chairperson, and Kim Kite and Georgie Hercock as joint secretaries. Adrianna Madeley has stepped down as Treasurer and will be replaced by Phaedra McGill. Thank you to Adrianna for her work and commitment to the friends.

 

It was lovely to see the meeting well attended and Diane Pye thanked the members of Friends for their support and fund-raising efforts during the past year. Please come along to our next meeting to be held at the school on Tuesday, October 15th at 7.30pm to discuss future fund-raising ideas. All support and ideas welcome.

KEY STAGE 2 CROSS COUNTRY

 

On Monday 30th September KS2 will be attending the interschool cross country at Millichope from 13:00 with Mrs Childs and Mrs Wilson.

YEAR 2 INTER-SCHOOL SPORTS

 

These sports are being held on Thursday 3rd October 2019 at 1pm, for year 2 pupil. They will be going via minibus to Church Stretton School with Mrs Wilson and our volunteer Claire Hield.

The school has two accounts, one for school dinners (Rushbury Primary School Kitchen Account) and the Rushbury School Fund, for all other payments from trips, uniforms, music lessons etc.

NUT ALLERGIES

Due to a number of pupils in school having nut allergies, no nuts or nut products are permitted into school.

Should a child have a nut allergy or other allergic condition, please notify the school as soon as possible.

 

KEEPING CHILDREN SAFE IN EDUCATION SAFEGUARDING

 

All staff working with children undergoes rigorous safeguarding training on Keeping Children Safe in Education Safeguarding. New guidance under this regulation was recently updated in July 2019. Well done to year 5 and 6 netball and football teams, who took part in the interschool tournament at Church Stretton. Congratulations to the netball team who came a fantastic third place.
