COLLECTING BOTTLE TOPS

Miss Carter has asked if children can collect any bottle tops (plastic or metal) please and bring them into school for a bottle top design.

CRAZY HAIR DAY

Today the children and most staff came with crazy hair. There were some amazing hair styles and we raised £55 for Nepal.

YEAR 3 & 4 HOCKEY

On Thursday 28th February Year 3 and 4 will be playing hockey at Church Stretton School. Please ensure that your child has his/her PE kit in school that day. It has been requested that the children wear shin pads if possible.

DROPPING OFF CHILDREN IN THE MORNING

Once again we need to remind parents that children should not arrive at school before 8.45 am. Teachers have to prepare for lessons before this time but are unable to leave the classroom if there are children in their care to be supervised.   Some children are arriving by 8.30 am and this is not acceptable. If you do need to bring your child in earlier please book early morning care with Miss Carter. Thank you.

PICKING UP ARRANGEMENTS AFTER SCHOOL

If your child is being picked up by someone other than you or there is a change in home time arrangements such as going/not going home on the bus would you please ensure that the school is aware. If this is a regular arrangement that occurs for example every Tuesday and the teacher knows this, there is no need to notify us every week.

COLLECTION OF OLD STAMPS

Thank you to Macey’s family for the two large bags of used stamps to send to Hilbrae Dog Rescue Kennels. If you send stamps in to school would you please leave an edge of paper around the stamp. Thank you

REQUEST FOR SPARE HAIRBANDS FOR CLASS 1

If anyone has any spare hairbands that they could bring in, Class 1 would be very grateful as they are running short of them.

WINTER WEATHER

As we are expecting more cold weather could you please ensure children have appropriate clothing at school, including gloves, hats and scarves. Thank you.
