SONGS AND SKETCHES FROM ALICE IN WONDERLAND

Dress rehearsal – Monday morning.

Performance   – 2.00 pm on Wednesday 12th July in St Peter’s Church.

Micro-video will be recording the show. If you would like to place an order at the church, the cost is £8 for a DVD and £10 for a Blu-ray. Order envelopes will be available at the back of the church. All children have a booklet of songs to practise at home. Please could you check that your child has learnt their speaking lines. Thank you.

FUNDS FOR ST PETER’S CHURCH

At the Alice in Wonderland performance, there will be a collection bowl at the back of the church for donations. Thank you.

TUESDAY 11th JULY

This will be the last swimming session for this term.

TUESDAY 11th JULY – OPEN AFTERNOON

This is an opportunity for parents and carers to chat to teachers and look around the school. The children will have work on display.

THURSDAY 13th JULY – FUN NIGHT 5.00 pm to 7.00pm

Everyone is welcome. Please see flyers. Please could we have donations of bottles for this year’s tombola. Thank you.

YEAR 6 BIKEABILITY – THURSDAY 13th AND FRIDAY 14th JULY

To take part in this training, all children must wear a helmet. There will be times when they cycle on the lanes. Thank you.

LEAVERS’ SERVICE – FRIDAY 21st JULY

This special service is open to everyone and takes place at 9.30am at St Peter’s Church. All of the children will be performing the songs from Concord College. Please do join us if you can.

FRIDAY AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Next term we hope to extend Friday afternoon activities to include Year 1 and 2 children. In order to do this we need more volunteers to help support the activities. If you would like to get involved please contact the school office or speak to Mrs Pye. Thank you.

ACTIV SPORTS

Activ Sports are running a holiday club at the school on Wednesday 2nd, Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th August. Please see attached.

SCHOOL PICNIC

For the picnic on Wednesday 19th July the chefs will be making Wenlock Edge ham rolls, salad and paella. Water will be provided. If you would like to order a school picnic meal to eat with your child please fill in the slip below and return it to school by Thursday 13th July. The cost will be £3 for an adult meal.

PE REPORTS

PE reports will be prepared by Activ Sports and will be sent out during the last week of term.

LITTLE ACORNS

Little Acorns will offer 30 hours of childcare (5 full days) from September.
