MESSAGE FROM IAN BARTLETT CRIME PREVENTION OFFICER

Congratulations to Rushbury CE Primary School on maintaining their ‘Safer School’ accreditation. The school was accredited in 2007 and the recent Safer School Group meeting clearly indicated the school’s commitment to the initiative and it was really positive. At the meeting, we reviewed the security/safety measures, updated the action plan and reviewed the incident reporting. A vital part of ‘Safer Schools’ includes involving governors, staff, pupils, parents/carers, neighbours and the school continues to achieve this through surveys, newsletters and Safer School Group meetings. West Mercia Police and Shropshire Council supported the meeting and a new updated Safer School certificate was presented. Overall, excellent!
